Eric Graduates!!
10:52 PM
Last night at 8:00 PM, my brother, Eric, Graduated from Seguin High School. It was a very nice ceremony. It was weird being back at SHS; it has been 7 years since I graduated from high school! Wow how time flies! Eric was so nervous and excited to graduate. It was so fun getting to be there and watch him walk the stage. I know it was an amazing feeling for him! :)
Ryan and I also had our school's graduations on Friday night and Saturday morning. It was great to see our students walk across the stage as well. Some of them worked so hard to get there, as did Eric! Graduation is a bittersweet feeling. The kids are so excited to be done, but at the same time sad to be leaving a place where they have been for the past four years of their lives. I have only been at RHS for a year, but it was emotional for me as well. It's a neat and indescribable feeling to watch the Seniors walk across the stage. It has been one of the most enjoyable things about my job!
Ryan and I have been working on our Peace Corps invitation packet. We have tons of paperwork to fill out, including visas, passports, aspirations statements, and so on. We are getting it done, but are super busy. Everyone take care and see you all soon!
